Background Statement

Having over 25 years of senior leadership experience in business with companies across several business sectors, I began my career in the commercial shipping industry in port operations management. I managed a port agency and stevedoring operations that delivered quick turnaround at minimum costs to some of the world’s largest and busiest commercial cargo ships. In addition, I have held senior management positions in procurement and logistics for government and non-governmental organizations. I co-founded Imperial Marketing Group in 2001 and served as Principal Managing Director for nearly a decade
My international work experience includes managing operations in the Netherlands, Guinea, Sierra Leone, Cote D’Ivoire, and Liberia. I earned a BS in Physics and Mathematics from the University of Liberia and hold a MBA in International Business and a Masters in Project Management from the Keller Graduate School of Management at DeVry College, New York City.

Plays the trumpet and alto horn. In college, was a member of the university orchestra
